Job Description

Kariera.gr on behalf of its client, one of the biggest Shipping Agencies in Greece, is looking for a Sales and Freight Forwarding Representative.

The ideal candidate is engaged to achieve and exceed sales targets and develop the portfolio of existing and potential customers in all marketing activities. Be aware of customers' needs, competition, and existing services of the Line.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Visit potential and existing customers to promote relations & services
  • Direct internally the customer demands received
  • Create market analysis with Trade and pricing team in order to realize the specified marketing and sales policies
  • Prepare sales reports and follow up projects set by Commercial & Line Administration Manager
  • Maintain data of owned clients portfolio in CRM or other sales systems
  • Generate new clients portfolio
  • Maintain sales reporting data for monthly sales and marketing meeting
  • Be aware of financial status of all new or existing customers (credits, outstanding amounts, etc.)

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of working experience in forwarding company or Line agency
  • Experience in company related to Liner Shipping sector is a plus
  • BSc in Shipping 
  • Excellent use of English
  • Expert PC Use
  • Advanced knowledge of Ms Office, mainly in Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork and cross-functional partnerships.
